Why the price changed when you loaded this page
Prices are set by country, in three bands, because $6 a month is a small thing in Sydney and a real decision in Jakarta. The band comes from the country your payment method is registered in, not from your IP address - so a VPN will not move you into a cheaper one, and travelling will not move you into a more expensive one.
The daily limit resets at your midnight
Your midnight, in your timezone - not ours, and not a server's. If you are in Vancouver you do not lose a day because it is already tomorrow in Frankfurt.
What counts as one task
One operation producing one set of files. Merging ten PDFs into one is one task, not ten. Splitting one PDF into twenty files is one task. A job that fails or that you cancel costs nothing, and re-running the same job within five minutes is not counted twice - because you usually re-run it when the first result was not quite right, and charging for that would be charging for our imprecision.
