このツールでできること
This converts a presentation's content, not its design. Slide titles, bullet text, images and speaker notes are read and laid out as a document; themes, master-slide backgrounds, shape positions, animations, transitions, SmartArt and charts are not reproduced. If you need a deck that looks the way it looks on screen, PowerPoint's own export is the right tool. If you need the text of a deck as something readable and printable, which is what most people are actually after, this gives you that, one slide per page or two, four or six to a sheet.
Use it for handouts you can print and write on, for sending a deck to somebody who should not be editing it, for filing a presentation somewhere it will still open in ten years, or for reading through a colleague's slides on a device with no PowerPoint on it.
仕組み
- Drop your .pptx files onto this page. Up to 20 at a time, each up to 150 MB.
- Choose the layout: one slide per page, or 2, 4 or 6 slides on each handout sheet.
- Turn on include speaker notes if each slide's notes should be printed underneath it.
- Leave slide numbers on so a printed handout can be talked through by number.
- Set the paper size and orientation for the one-slide-per-page version. Landscape is the default because it matches the shape of a slide.
- Press Convert and the PDF downloads.
Slide order comes from the presentation's own relationship list, never from the file names inside the .pptx. Something called slide1.xml is frequently not the first slide - PowerPoint reuses those numbers as slides are added, deleted and reordered - and sorting them numerically is precisely how a converted deck comes out shuffled. Reading the presentation's stated ordering costs nothing and is the difference between a deck and a jumble.
Handouts are built by converting to one slide per page first, then laying that result out 2, 4 or 6 up. Doing it in that order guarantees the handout matches the full-size version page for page, which is the entire point of a handout. Handout sheets are always A4 - landscape for two per sheet, portrait for four and six - with a border drawn round each slide so the grid stays visible where slides have white edges.
Because the handout stage redraws each page as artwork on a new sheet, hyperlinks do not survive it. One slide per page keeps them. If the links in your deck matter, convert at one slide per page, and reach for Pages per sheet separately only when you have decided you can lose them.
Speaker notes are off by default and are printed under their slide when you turn them on. They are read from the notes part of the file, so everything typed into the notes pane comes through - including the things people forget are sitting in there. Read a converted deck before handing it round.
Text is set at 14 point for one slide per page and 10 point for handouts. A slide's own font sizes are not reproduced, because the model this conversion flows through carries structure rather than styling: a title is a heading, a bullet is a list item, and typography is decided once for every conversion on this site rather than guessed at per slide.
このツールにできないこと
- Themes, master-slide backgrounds, shape positions and slide layouts are not reproduced. The deck's text, images and notes convert; its design does not.
- Charts, SmartArt and other drawings are not converted, because rendering them would mean implementing PowerPoint's own renderer.
- Animations, transitions and build stages are ignored. A slide that builds in five steps becomes one page showing all five.

- 発表者ノートも入れられますか？
- はい。「発表者ノートを含める」をオンにすると、各スライドの下にノートが印刷されます。既定でオフなのは、資料は発表に使われるよりも共有されることのほうがはるかに多く、自分に向けて書いたノートが、受け取る人に見せてよいものとは限らないからです。
- アニメーションや画面切り替えはどうなりますか？
- 無視されます。どのPDFでも同じで、この形式にはそれを表す手段がありません。5段階で現れるスライドは、5つすべてが一度に見えている1ページになります。途中の状態が大事なら、PowerPointでスライドを複製して各段階を別々のスライドにしてから変換してください。
- プレゼンテーションはアップロードされますか？
- されません。.pptxはブラウザーの中のWeb Workerで展開・読み取りされ、PDFもそこで組み立てられます。資料には、作った本人が覚えているより多くのものが付いて回りがちです。ノート、古い版のスライド、切り取ったのではなく隠しただけの画像など。ファイルのどこも外に出ないので、それらも外に出ません。
